STATIN is currently conducting its islandwide listing of dwelling exercise. This involves counting and recording basic information on all residential dwellings in selected areas.
This exercise is important to support sample selection for future surveys, which encourage evidence-based decision making.
After a population and housing Census, communities change over time—new houses are built, people relocate, and demographic changes occur.
To capture these changes, STATIN periodically updates its information. This helps us build a strong, accurate foundation for planning and delivering the services needed in the future.
