Jamaica National Crime Victimization Survey 2009
Inflation Expectation Survey(Quarterly

The Inflation Expectation Survey is a quarterly survey conducted on behalf of the Bank of Jamaica. The survey began in 2006 and was designed to collect information on the expectation and perception of heads of businesses and decision makers on inflation. The questionnaire covers a number of areas including expectations on future movement of prices, inflation, growth rates, interest rates and the level of wages/salary increase.

The Reproductive Health Survey (RHS) is conducted on behalf of the National Family Planning Board (NFPB). The objectives of the survey are to gather information on the measures of fertility, contraceptive use and other reproductive health issues among women aged 15 to 49 and men aged 15 to 24.  The targeted number of respondents for RHS 2007 was 2,400 males and 7,200 females. The last RHS was conducted in 2002 and is usually conducted at five year intervals. The final reports for RHS 2007 are scheduled for dissemination by year end, 2009.

The Jamaica National Crime Victimization Survey (JNCVS) 2009 is being conducted on behalf of the Ministry of National Security. This survey was first conducted in 2006 and covers information on violent and non-violent crimes, such as property crimes and offences against person, for both the individual respondent as well as household victimization. Information is also collected from the questionnaires to be able to assess the impact of certain social interventions. National Crime Victimizations Surveys (NCVS) are usually collected at regular intervals, ranging from twice a year to every two years.
