The Reproductive Health Survey (RHS) is conducted on behalf of the
National Family Planning Board (NFPB). The objectives of the survey are to
gather information on the measures of fertility, contraceptive use and other
reproductive health issues among women aged 15 to 49 and men aged 15 to 24. The
targeted number of respondents for RHS 2007 was 2,400 males and 7,200 females.
The last RHS was conducted in 2002 and is usually conducted at five year
intervals. The final reports for RHS 2007 are scheduled for dissemination by
year end, 2009.
