Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Indicators

STATIN currently monitors 12 core indicators on ICT access and use by households and individuals. These are part of a core list of indicators developed under the framework of the Partnership on Measuring ICT for Development. Additionally, STATIN monitors 4 core indicators on ICT infrastructure and access and 2 core indicators on the international trade of ICT goods.Jamaica is a member of the ITU and has been making annual submissions of statistics on ICT access and use by households and individuals in fulfilment of membership obligations since 2006. In total, STATIN presently monitors eighteen (18) core ICT indicators.
